CPA Crane Hire
The hirer requiring a load to be lifted must:
Carry out all work as per British Standard 7121 ‘Safe use of cranes’ and LOLER (Lifting Operation & Lifting Equipment Regulations).
Supply a qualified Appointed Person.
Assess correct craneage requirements.
Have adequate and appropriate insurance cover.
Write a method statement, risk assessment, lifting plan etc to ensure the lift is carefully planned and carried out.
Check the credentials and certifications of the crane hire company.
A hirer who wants a lift to be undertaken but does not have the relevant expertise should ask WB Services to undertake a contract lift.
We will:
Carry out all work as per British Standard 7121 ‘Safe use of cranes’ and

Supply the Appointed Person, lift supervisors and slinger / signallers.
Supply suitable craneage and Insurance cover as per CPA Contract Lift
Terms & Conditions.

lift is carefully planned and carried out.
Organise and control the lifting operation.
All crane hire operations will be carried out under the CPA Terms & Conditions.
