WBSL can provide any size of matting, which can be delivered and laid out on site by hiab vehicle.

Ground bearing pressures can be reduced futher with the aid of sand or Ethafoam, we can provide this service if required. Our mats come in the following sizes in vast quantaties! These mats are suitable for rubber tyred vehicles and should be laid to form a single track of either three or five metre width. As a guide only, these mats may be used to support evenly distributed weights of up to 21 tonnes for 3 metre and 35 tonnes for 5 metre depending on ground conditions on site.
 The client must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any particular product for the application intended. Due to their density, Ekki Mats do not float and are therefore suitable if required for use in tidal situation. The weights of timber products can vary considerably depending on the density of the timber and the amount of water absorption.
