When a forklift or pallet truck can't get through, a tracked carrier can. We run the full range of Aconda tracked carriers, for jobs across London and the South East where heavy loads need to go through narrow gaps, up slopes and stairs, or across soft and uneven ground.
What is a tracked carrier?
Tracked carriers are compact, remote-controlled machines on crawler tracks. Their low bed height keeps the load stable, and the operator walks alongside with a wireless remote, so there's less manual handling. Electric-powered models are quiet and emission-free, which suits indoor work, refurbishments and sensitive sites.
What they're good for
- Narrow alleys, side passages, doorways and basements
- Stairs, slopes and soft or uneven ground in gardens and on sites
- Glass, stone, paving and cladding
- Plant and machinery moves in confined spaces
- Interior fit-outs in historic or listed buildings, where floors need protecting
Pair it with a spider crane or Hiab
Tracked carriers work well alongside our spider cranes and Hiabs. We can deliver the load on a Hiab, move it to the work area on a carrier, then lift it into place with a spider crane, all planned as one job.
Hire support
We'll help you choose the right carrier and attachments for the load, and we can handle delivery and collection. Single-day, multi-day and longer hires are available across London and the South East.
